12 Ways To Raise Your Vibration
We often hear “don’t mess with my vibe,” or “positive vibes only.” But what exactly does that mean?
Everything is made of energy – even you.
There are low and high vibrations found all around us.
You can’t see it, but you can feel it. You know it’s there through how it feels.
Low – feels heavy, weighs you down.
High – feels light and airy.
So, what does it mean to raise your vibration?
One of the most powerful things is realizing that we have the ability to shift our vibrational energy. If we’re in a state of low-vibe energy, we can shift it into high-vibe.
You can shift your vibrational energy through how you think, feel & act.
Low-vibe — feelings such as anger, fear, jealousy, shame, guilt.
These feelings don’t mean you’re a bad person! Simply begin to create an awareness of how you’re feeling, so you can begin the shift.
High-vibe — feelings such as love, joy, happiness, abundance.
These feelings make you feel great, and attract others to you and your positive vibrational energy.
This doesn’t mean you’ll never feel low-vibe feelings, but because you’re aware, you can shift to high-vibe more easily – takes practice & consistency.
Create an awareness.
Set an intention.
Choose to live a life of love & light
Here are my top Twelve Ways To Raise Your Vibration
ONE – Daily Gratitude
Having an attitude of gratitude is truly life-changing. When you begin to focus on the things that you DO have, as opposed to the things that you DON’T have, your life begins to shift into higher vibration. Through exchanging self-pity for gratitude, you’ll begin to see an improvement in your physical and psychological health. You’ll have an increase in self-esteem, sleep better, and overall be happier.
In order to begin this practice of daily gratitude, it’s simple. You just begin! Start with saying – “I am grateful for…” and begin listing the things you’re grateful for. Write it down and FEEL IT. Feeling the gratitude within your body begins to shift your subconscious brain, making it an automatic response over time. It’s also important to practice gratitude in the NOW. This moment is all that you have, so begin to move throughout your day with awareness and gratitude for all of the amazing things that you have in life.
Consistency is very helpful with cultivating a daily gratitude practice. Not everyday will be “amazing,” but that doesn’t mean there isn’t something to be grateful for within each day – the lesson you’re learning, your breath, your very life..all are things to express gratitude for.
Two – Random Acts of Kindness
This one isn’t necessarily something that you would automatically think of when you’re wanting to raise your vibration. However, acts of kindness are powerful ways to shift from a low vibrational energy into higher vibration. When you perform a random act of kindness, it releases oxytocin within our bodies, which ultimately reduces blood pressure – overall making you healthier! It’s also been shown to reduce depression.
Again, with this tip, you just merely want to begin! It doesn’t need to be anything overly showy or high-priced either. Here are some ideas of random acts of kindness that are either free, or low cost:
- Purchase lemonade from a child’s stand.
- Pick up trash.
- Give someone a compliment.
- Leave a positive sticky-note for someone to find.
- Sponsor a child.
- Smile.
- Let someone ahead of you in line.
Three – Meditate Daily
Making the time from your busy life to quiet your mind in meditation is an amazing way to raise your vibration. Those who make this time are centered, calm, focused, happier and healthier over time. Mindfulness practices also decrease depression and reduce stress and anxiety.
Starting a daily meditation practice doesn’t have to be scary or overwhelming. Often, people think they have to set aside hours of time each day, or wonder how they could ever fully “quiet their minds.” I’ve shared my thoughts on how to simply integrate mindfulness and meditation into your daily life, as well as created a free guided meditation series for those wanting to begin (or those looking to revamp their meditation practice).
Four – Deep Breathing
As a society, we’re chronically stressed & chronic shallow-breathers. It’s become our natural response to hold our breath, have our heart-rate increase, etc, all because we’ve subconsciously conditioned it to do so. This is why deep breathing is a great way to reduce your chronic stress (low vibe) and increase your happiness & health (high vibe).
Deep breathing allows your muscles to relax, increase your oxygen intake, lower your blood pressure, and you’re happier overall because of endorphin release within your body. Learning how to deal with your stress in a healthy way is such an important thing because you can’t eliminate stress completely, but you can change the way you respond to it.
Here are the steps you can take to begin deep breathing today:
- Create 5 minutes free of distraction.
- Lay down or sit comfortably.
- Relax your muscles
- Focus on where you’re feeling tension within your body.
- Inhale deeply for 5 seconds (really fill up your whole chest & abdomen)
- Exhale completely for 5 seconds, allowing your body to fully release all tension & stress.
- Continue inhaling & exhaline for several minutes.
- Allow your body to relax, and your mind to soften.
- If any stressful or worrying thoughts come to mind, release them and focus back onto your breathing & release.
Five – Spending Time In Nature
We often spend a good amount of time indoors, whether through working in an indoor space or relaxing inside somewhere. Taking the time to be outside and reconnect with nature charges your inner battery and allows you to be rejuvenated and refreshed. It also boosts your immune system, reduces your stress and anxiety and boosts your creativity. All are really great things that allow you to raise your vibration.
The beach, forest, or mountains are all really incredible spaces to spend time in, as the energy balances out the ions in our system. If you’re unable to take daily time to escape to those places, spending even 20-30 minutes each day outside to reconnect with nature will make a huge difference.
Small steps can make a big difference. Here are some simple ways to spend time in nature each day:
- Eat your lunch outside.
- Go for a walk, run, hike outside, instead of going to the gym.
- Work outdoors when possible.
- Play outside with your kids.
- Drink your morning cup of coffee outside.
Six – Filling Your Mind With Positivity
If you’re not aware of your thoughts on a regular basis, it can be easy to fall into a habit of staying within a more negative and low vibrational space in your mind. You have to train your mind to focus on the positive, rather than the negative. Once you begin to see a pattern, it’s then up to you to choose to fill your mind with the positive!
When you do this, it reduces your stress and ultimately allows you to manage it better. Filling your mind with positivity also motivates you, increases productivity, boosts your immunity and is overall good for your health!
There are many great ways to fill your mind with positivity. Chose to listen to motivational speaker through podcasts or videos on YouTube. Read or listen to inspirational books. Music that is uplifting, positive and just makes you feel good is also another great way to fill your mind with positivity and ultimately raise your vibration.
Seven – Laughter
Laughter is such a simple, beautiful way to raise your vibration. We often see children laughing without care or thought. Somewhere along the way, as adults we’ve lost that childlike spirit. Laughter is a wonderful way to capture it back again. It’s also been shown to reduce pain, boost immunity, reduce depression, and also boost relational connections.
When you’re creating this space of joy and laughter, allow yourself to relax. Find the good in situations – and if you can’t, laugh about it! Let the stress levels fall. Watch a funny movie, get together with friends. Spend some time with children & allow their natural joyful laughter to positively affect you so you can do the same.
Eight – Positive Affirmations
Positive affirmations are becoming more and more common. An affirmation is simply shifting from “negative” thoughts/beliefs into those that are more “positive.” It’s creating awareness and becoming more conscious of the thoughts that you have on a regular basis. Positive affirmations help to bring about more blessings and gifts into your life. They help you to keep the small things in perspective and in more of a regular state of gratitude.
Begin with affirmations of gratitude – focus on the things that you DO have in your life (food, clothing, a place to live, your breath, your life, family/friends, a car, etc). You want to feel GOOD about saying the affirmations. Think of them as how you *want* to be, instead of how you currently are (in terms of affirmations that may seem unrealistic). Use positive language in the present tense and create them for any area of your life – relationships, health, work, money, etc.
Here are some examples to get you started:
- I am beautiful.
- I am successful.
- Abundance flows to me freely.
- I am healthy and full of energy.
- All of my relationships are healthy and full of love.
- I am in complete charge of my responses.
- All is well in my world.
- My life is beautiful.
Whatever you focus on grows, so a daily practice of positive affirmations will shift your focus into high vibe energy the more you make it a habit.
Nine – Hugs
Many times, we give hugs when we’re happy and when we want to show others we love them. Hugging ultimately is seen and known as a universal comfort. It brings us joy, reduces fear and also reduces pain. Hugs bring that physical touch which releases soothing chemicals that uplift us – ultimately raising our vibration.
Most of us within are touch-deprived. If you’re focusing on raising your vibration in this way, begin by asking and giving hugs to others. You really can never have too many hugs. Studies have shown that even the shortest of hugs from those you are closest with can have physical and mental positive effects.
Ten- Plant Medicine
This may be an unknown topic to you, but it is one that I’m very passionate about and have personally experienced positive benefits from. Plant medicines are a healing tool, used by Shamans and indigenous healers to access different states of consciousness wherein they believe they are able to heal the body and/or mind from illness and disease. The reason for the moniker ‘plant medicines’ is that they are generally made of plant-based materials, as in the case of Peyote (cactus), San Pedro (cactus), Ayahuasca (vine), Psilocybin (mushrooms), Iboga (shrub).
It’s highly recommended that you not experiment with plant medicine without a guide who is knowledgeable and well-versed in plant medicine. If this is something you’re wanting more information about, please read what I’ve written about Plant Medicine Integration as well as ways you can connect with me.
Eleven – Regular Exercise
Regular exercise is a great way to raise your vibration. Moving your body and getting into a consistent routine releases endorphins, which improve your mood. It helps to lower your stress and anxiety levels, boosts energy, and helps you to sleep better.
There’s no one-size-fits-all fitness and exercise routine. Play around with different activities and find what works best for YOU. Some suggestions to get you started are:
- Running/jogging
- Yoga
- Group fitness classes
- Zumba
- Cycling
- Water fitness
Twelve – Mastermind
One of the ways that I offer support to others when they’re desiring to shift from a low-vibrational energy into one of high-vibration is to work within the space of my Mastermind.
This Mastermind gives you the opportunity to create a new reality. It allows you to get into alignment with yourself and your heart. It is a step by step guide to walk you through being in alignment with your heart. Learning to take action that will bear fruit.
Mastermind helps you cultivate focus with clarity and maintaining a clear vision. Week by week clearing out the clutter that holds us back from actualizing our hopes and dreams. Once you distill stuff down to small actionable steps you can bring anything you choose to create to fulfillment. Moving your life from the inside out brings a level of fulfillment and accomplishment to experiences and life in a way that most people live the opposite.
Join me for an extraordinary experience of collective collaboration that is open to men and women. Enrollment begins in October. For more information and to enroll, CLICK HERE. I look forward to connecting with you and helping to support you through this beautiful experience.

What’s the difference between Integrative Coaching vs Plant Medicine Integration?
I’ve been working within this space healing work for 20 years – part of Integrative Coaching for close to 10 and within the realm of Plant Medicine Integration for 2 years. I have personally experienced the incredible power each hold within my life and have seen it positively affect the lives of many others. In my last post, I shared with you what Integrative Coaching is. I now want to share another piece of what it is that I share with others through Plant Medicine Integration.
The following are many FAQ I receive on Plant Medicine. Please know that every person’s experience is different, and each experience itself is different. So much depends upon your current energetic and emotional state. After reading, I would love to know your thoughts and what questions you have!

What is Plant Medicine?
Plant medicines are a healing tool, used by Shamans and indigenous healers to access different states of consciousness wherein they believe they are able to heal the body and/or mind from illness and disease. The reason for the moniker ‘plant medicines’ is that they are generally made of plant-based materials, as in the case of Peyote (cactus), San Pedro (cactus), Ayahuasca (vine), Psilocybin (mushrooms), Iboga (shrub).
There are many terms used to refer to plant medicine. Here are some of the more common terms and descriptions:
- Entheogens, meaning ‘generating the divine within’, and refers to any psychoactive drugs when used for their religious or spiritual effects.
- Psychotropics, which includes any substance which is mood- or mind-altering. This isn’t the best description as Xanax, a well-known mood-altering pill, has little or nothing to do with an experience like Ayahuasca.
- Hallucinogens, which is any drug that causes hallucination. Although this isn’t quite the appropriate term, as sacred plant medicines are used ritually and serve serious healing purpose for indigenous folks who do not depend on allopathic medicine. Sacred plant medicine has nothing to do with LSD or DMT.
- Plant Medicine, which is the easiest term to use overall, because it encompasses both the healing and organic nature of the experience.
Is it a drug?
Yes, because it is at least slightly hallucinogenic, and therefore drug-like from most people’s perceptions, but no, because it’s nothing like taking drugs. Ideally, a plant medicine experience (when done properly, and with serious intention) won’t have any similarities to taking LSD or other hallucinogenic drugs.
What should be done to prepare before beginning to incorporate Plant Medicine?
- Do some research to find out what medicine clicks with you and also about the authenticity of the people and places offering it. Make sure you’re not putting yourself into any situation that may cause you harm or discomfort in any way.
- As safely as possible, begin to wean yourself off any prescriptions, drugs, herbs and alcohol. Mixing these with plant medicines is just too dangerous not to do so. Speak with your doctor or pharmacist about the proper way to discontinue medications and what you may be able to take to make the process easier for you.
- Be sure to listen to and follow the dietary advice given so you have no adverse reactions and can be as comfortable as possible while the medicine does its work. It’s much easier for the plant medicine to do as it’s designed to do within your body if it’s got food nourishing your body.
- Create rituals and practices to help you best get in touch with yourself before and after your experience with plant medicine. There are things like meditating, yoga, speaking with a counselor, energy or breath work, journaling, etc.
- Make sure to set an intention. Your inner wisdom and spirit of the medicine knows best what you need, however, setting a deeper intention creates a more powerful sign of trust with your intuition and deeper knowing.
How do you recommend someone begin shifting into Plant Medicine Integration?
First follow the steps above before starting. Then once someone has experienced a Ceremony, or Mircro dosing, with plants to aid in their awakening process, it will become a natural part of their journey. This will help them deal with what they experienced during the Ceremony and then Integrate it into their lives.
Who is it for?
For most people that feel called as long as they don’t have serious medical conditions with some plants that may be contraindicated.
Is there a specific process you follow for all clients, or is it specific to each client’s particular need?
I use a lot of the same tools I use with my clients that have never used Plant Medicine, this is what I call core work and inner child, shadow work is helpful to all my clients. Each person will be at a specific stage in their growth process, so yes it’s very individual-based from each person to person.
What is it like to take plant medicine?
Each plant has different experiences so that’s a very broad question that I would need to break down per plant. Each person’s experience is also very unique based on their conditioning and psyche – how in tune they already are or not. However, it’s important to note that for each person, whatever they experience is exactly what they’re meant to experience.
What is Ayahuasca?
Ayahuasca gets its name from the Quechua languages, aya means “spirit, soul” Ayahuasca meaning spirit of the vine. As Ayahuasca is comprised of two plants that are cooked down to create a brew that is ingested. Once you drink the Medicine it gives you a spiritual experience that typically lasts from 4-5 hours or so.
What are the benefits to plant medicine?
Physical, emotional and mental healing.
Are there any dangers?
Yes depending on the health of the individual and if they are on any medications, as those tend to be contraindications. It’s very important to work with someone who is trained in Plant Medicine. Doing so ensures that everything is done with care and all safety measures are being taking through each process.
How will/does it affect my life short-term? Long-term?
Short term people can feel less stressed, it increases serotonin in the brain to increase ones well being. Long term it can help with depression and anxiety but it often takes several Ceremonies to release deeper trauma that’s been stored in the body over the years.
Plant Medicine Integration is what follows the Ceremony once we are willing to look at deeper parts of ourselves. The Integration is taking action based on the listening and revelations we’ve had as a result of the healing Plant Medicine can induce. Meaning we can be inspired to change jobs, friends, and our current trajectory in life can often be overhauled. If you aren’t in alignment with your heart and soul Plant Medicine wakes you up to what that is if you are doing the Integration that is needed to work through what’s being brought to the surface for healing.
Plant Medicine isn’t a magic pill. It increases our vibration to higher frequency as to release the truth of our wholeness and to show us the conditioning that’s been in the way due to trauma and crisis that’s prevented us from being our whole and authentic selves.
Integration is essential and often the missing piece after people go through working with Plants. Most people don’t have the tools to navigate what’s been brought to the surface and Integration Coaching is helping to develop those tools and have someone hold space while you move through what’s been revealed.

What is Integrative Coaching?
To my new readers and those who have been with me for several years as I’ve grown my Integrative Coaching business and ultimately myself in the most amazing ways..hello! I’m so glad that you’ve found yourself here in this space.
I felt a pull to bring things back to basics and share more in-depth about what Integrative Coaching is, how I found myself in this place, and the benefits one receives in working with me. May this information give you the reassurance that whatever situation you may currently find yourself in, there is hope. There is peace. There is harmony.
Let’s begin with this main concept – What Is Integration? This is a common question for many. Integration is bringing forgotten or suppressed parts of ourselves back home to our natural state of being wholeness. Integration is seeing our lives and ourselves from the whole person and self, rather than separate from. It’s seeing how everything in our lives is reflecting pieces that we may have been unaware of before now, thus bringing our work and relationships into harmony..our personal growth and self-care into harmony with this level of wholeness.
Several years ago, I began to put my life under a microscope to look at how I could change what I saw and didn’t resonate with. Why I was creating my life from unconscious patterns and limiting beliefs I found I was operating in. Over the years of personal work on myself and my life, I began to transform from the inside-out. The inside-out changes are lasting and fulfilling ones. We can all get a new outfit to wear and feel good for a day but if you shift how you feel on the inside it doesn’t matter what you wear you feel amazing on a regular basis. This is how I began my journey to now being an Integrative Health Coach.
There are several areas of focus within this realm of coaching. In the first three sessions, I do work with energy clearing to bring the past into the conscious, and then see how it’s influencing our present through active inner child work. After that we look at the areas in your life that are out of sync or balance and bring them into a much more cohesive whole so to live more in the flow, bringing clarity and peace into yourself and then outward into your life.
This is an important process because when we look at our inner lives or the lack thereof, we begin to see how this state of being spills into all areas of our lives – the good, the bad, the ugly. When we can get honest about what we would like to change by really looking at what is…only then can we make the significant changes that will bring lasting results.

I absolutely love being able to help guide and coach my clients through these processes. I start most clients with three sessions to see if we are a good match. After that, we roll into a 3-month coaching relationship to make permanent lasting changes in the way you operate inside and outside in your life. I hold appointments on a weekly basis for 3 months, and after that clients get to choose if they would like to continue weekly or bi-weekly, monthly. If they feel our work together is complete, we wrap it up after three months. I work with clients anywhere from 3 months to a year depending on growth goals and intentions to make radical changes. This is all dependent on how much work a client has done before they work with me.
My clients receive many benefits during our time together. Most clients receive a life overhaul. They feel better than when they started, and most of them have changed so much they hardly recognize the person they used to be. I also give support in-between the weekly calls. There is nothing out there like working one-on-one with a coach. If you want to change any area in your life I highly recommend coaching even if it’s not me. Find someone that can work alongside you to encourage your personal growth inwardly as well as your life overall.

Meditation: A Way Of Life
Meditation is applicable to everyone.
In fact, I believe that it’s a way of life.
In my previous post, I shared about how you can Sink Into The Stillness and simply integrate mediation and mindfulness into your everyday life. Somewhere along the lines, we’ve been told that meditation has to be something that takes a significant amount of time, energy and effort, and it simply does not have to be.
Personally, having a practice for over twenty years allows me to fall into a second-nature flow with meditation. It is easy for me to find my breath and to meditate throughout every aspect of my life – from washing dishes in the kitchen to walking my dog to driving in my car. Meditation is a state of mind and it has saved my life.
What is meditation to you?
To me meditation is a friend that you come home to. One who doesn’t judge but can sit and be a witness to all of your everything.
A safe place to land when the waves are crashing hard. When life is joyful and the next it’s painful.
Meditation is what has pulled me through many of life’s circumstances again and again. I know if I have nothing, I have meditation and if I have everything I have meditation. It is a constant in my life.
There are many, many incredible benefits of meditation that you can begin to feel almost immediately once you begin the practice.
Meditation has a way of resetting the mind and body.
Helping us become a clearer channel for the now.
To trust the bodies instincts.
When I work with clients meditation is a way of life and when we don’t do it, the chaos of life gets the better of us. When we anchor into our Center and calm state of being the day flows with grace. This is the natural impulse of the Universe. This flow is what Nature operates from its not hurried it just is. I love when people tell me, “I’ve tried to meditate but just can’t or don’t know how.” Meditation is simple, it’s learning to concentrate. Do you know how to focus and concentrate? Most people on a mind level don’t know how or haven’t developed concentration. This prevents us from living fully in the present. Our minds are active, sometimes obsessive and other times out of control.
Beginning your meditation practice does not need to be complicated, time-consuming or stressful. A simple way to start is merely by focusing on your breath and in so doing, you begin to control your mind.
Learn to Master your thoughts by starting to focus on your breathing for 1-2 minutes. Each time you drift into the past or the future with a train of thoughts, bring it back to the breath.
When you learn a new skill in life, you don’t master it by trying to do it a couple of times or for 5 minutes. You master it by returning to it again and again. Eventually the mind follows your breathing and the concentration of the present moment. Then stillness comes. The more that you practice this, the easier it becomes and the more quickly you fall into this pattern when you begin to feel overwhelmed or your thoughts become too much for you.

If you’re feeling like meditation will never be something you’ll experience regularly in your life or perhaps you’ve fallen away from a regular practice or you’re just looking for something to give your practice a little boost..
I have something for YOU.
I’ve created an incredible 3-Part Meditation Series that is for all stages of your journey with meditation. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have been practicing for years and years, I would love for you to experience this series.
What do you receive?
Each of the 3 parts come weekly for 3 weeks and build upon one another. So you have nearly a month of meditation to take you through and help you access a deeper part of your Theta brainwaves and also help you access the heart – which to me is our compass, our guiding point of reference to help guide us into a place that is a little bit better.
Part 1 – a basic meditation to allow you to become grounded, connected and heart-centered.
Part 2 – a chakra cleansing meditation to clear any stagnant energy you’re holding within.
Part 3 – a meditation that takes parts 1-2 and brings you a little bit deeper.
Meditation is great for helping you access your imagination. As we become adults we often forget this aspect. A huge part of the creation process and the life that you want to live is through imagination – it is KEY. Through meditation you can bridge your inner world and outer world because what’s going on outside is a reflection of what’s going on inside
Are you ready to begin this part of your journey with meditation? I would love to help guide you through with my 3-Part Meditation Series. It is completely free – my gift to you! Click HERE to begin.
Meditation is applicable to everyone.
In fact, I believe that it’s a way of life.
Love & light,

Sink Into The Stillness: How to simply integrate mindfulness & meditation into your daily life
Stillness is powerful.
Do you ever find yourself going about your day, mind racing and find you’re holding your breath?
Stop right now, and be mindful of your breathing – what does it feel like at this very moment?
We live in a society of busyness and often do not take the time to just be still.
We often think that we need hours upon hours of time to practice mindfulness and meditation. So rather than giving it our time and attention, we push it aside for when we will “have more time.”
Stillness is not the objective of mindfulness and meditation. Rather it’s a by-product of our being, when we can sink into the present moment and follow our breath.
I’ve been practicing mindfulness and meditation for so long that I can switch into this place easily and quickly, just from it being a part of conditioning and daily practice.
You can do this too. It’s something everyone can experience.
You don’t need hours of time. Give yourself small moments throughout the day, 30 seconds 5-10 times where you can sink into the stillness, and become aware of your breath. Pause, and breathe deeply. Just be.
Before you get out of bed in the morning and before you go to bed each night…sink into the stillness.
In-between client calls, emails, your to-do list tasks…sink into the stillness.
Driving in your car or stopped still at a red light…sink into the stillness.

This can begin the process of mindfulness and meditation as a daily practice for you. Weave it into your life rather than having it be a separate part. Anytime we want to be more aware, we must begin exactly where we are. We must begin with what we have.
This small action of pausing, breathing deeply and sinking into the stillness begins the process of mindfulness and meditation. It weaves into your life, rather than being separate from it. Anytime we want to be more aware, start with where you are. Begin with what you have.
So today, I encourage you to sink into the stillness.
Just breathe.
XX,
Angela

What do you hope to grow in 2019?
Adventure, Freedom, Joy, Expansiveness.
What are some of your desires?
A new job, traveling, moving, a new relationship.
I had a client say I want to be realistic. I say realistic is how we keep our dreams and desires small. So we don’t get hurt or disappointed, but then we equally cut ourselves off from the expansiveness of Joy, wanting to unfold and grow in our lives.
For my clients I had them do an I want list or I desire for this year and then shift the list into a gratitude list. What this does is it helps the mind accept that this is a feeling in you but not something you are seeking. When we grow from within our external experiences can begin to match our inner world.
Give yourself permission to dream and expand what you would like to bring forward in your life. Do what sparks Joy in you and your life. When we begin to grow our Joy things take on different meanings because it’s the meaning we give the item or experience.
This is true about our experiences we are looking for experiences that will bring us a particular feeling so we seek it, rather if we sit and meditate about how we feel about the feeling or thought of that experience and grow that feeling that’s what we are seeking.
Then you begin to feel you are not separate from your experience but your experience is to draw more of who you are out. Expressing your soul and Divine Nature. This is what from the inside out living looks like.
When I speak about this a lot of people will say things like Law of Attraction but that really only scratches the surface. It’s not about positive thinking and that can be detrimental to our overall well-being. If we aren’t allowing room for all our emotions to be present and have space to be. How can we learn to grow what brings us Joy?
If we are unwilling to move through the pain. Then Joy can’t grow in a

Meaning if we have a lot of unexpressed pain and even in that pain there are seeds of Joy but left unexpressed What will grow.?
Back when I was in-between jobs I was a Massage Therapist, slash waitress, slash writer. After I came back from living in Europe for a year I didn’t want to go back to Massage full time. That always felt like a stepping stone one long stepping stone for me but I really didn’t know what was next. I gave myself time to be in the in between. Which our culture doesn’t value or really talk about much. Same as rest but that’s another post entirely.
I began working with Plant Medicine in particular Ayahuasca. I was called to facilitate and coaching with The business I have now. It took an Incredible leap to follow my heart to travel abroad with next to no money and it took another incredible leap to work with plant medicine.
But when Happiness and Joy are the calling cards you answer and you follow that because all else pales. Or maybe you don’t answer because you are sacred and life is comfortable and in our comfort we get complacent.
Why risk following your heart, when you have so much to
Any notable person that follows their heart and pursues dreams has setbacks and challenges. Because it’s the Universe asking, again and again, are you sure?
Helping you move from the old story to a new one. Then it’s routing you, GPS to your experience, your highest version of yourself, by stripping you down to basics and rising you back up again. The famous death and rebirth cycle.

Our heart is a beacon of truth for ourselves and for others around us. It’s what lights your path even if you can only see a few feet in front of you at a time. To me, this is when I learned Faith in Action. I don’t believe in blind faith, for true faith is a demonstration of us listening and trusting and following what’s in our hearts again and again.
This is what I experience in my life and in my work and why I’ve been called to demonstrate this to those that are called to work with me. You deserve to be so filled with Joy that you can almost burst from it. This is you lighting up your life.
Life doesn’t have to be hard, we make it hard from our past stories. Healing comes and in that space so does JOY. Moving from the hard paradigm mentality story to the new one being ushered in is another collective leap we are learning to take. A GPS rerouting that’s taking place, one big fucking U-Turn putting us on the course of JOY.
Are you listening?
Can you feel it?
Choose it! We are all adults now and we get to decide not the story in our head. Lean in the heart knows the way.
Here is to an expansive 2019 for you and those around you. May you have the spirit of Joy return to you again and again as you relearn to grow that which expands your heart.
Remembering who you are.

5 steps to Activating Self-Love
A mindful way to view self-love and how to bring the actions into your daily life with simple steps to help you cultivate a greater sense of self-love.
In today’s world and with the work I teach clients, self-love is taking center stage now. We are beginning to realize that loving ourselves is going to help us be more loving to others. That in truth how can you love someone else if you haven’t cultivated and developed some form of self-love?
When we begin to see ourselves as another would, or love ourselves as we love our friends, this opens up a capacity to grow our experience of self-love.
To take the journey of self-discovery is to open up to loving ourselves.
1. Set boundaries- When we care enough about our own well being we are able to say no to people and situations that aren’t healthy for us, that drain or deplete us rather than lift us up. Setting boundaries is a form of being empowered in your sense of self and thus you will love yourself more when you set limits and this fuels and grows that self-love. It can be challenging and often feels uncomfortable for people pleasers. We need to understand short-term gains don’t grow lasting results without some form of healthy boundaries in place.
2. Practice Good Self-Care- This looks like solid and balanced nutrition, eating whole healthy foods that nourish you. Some form of movement, learning to move your body in different ways teaches you to move your energy. Quality Sleep, Intimacy, human connections, and healthy relationships. Removing toxic people from your life.
3. Self-Acceptance- choosing to free ourselves from the burdens of the past. Regret and mistakes are teaching tools to help us grow if we can shift our perspective and allow acceptance to arise. We will be able to forgive ourselves and this is love.
4. Self-Forgiveness- We can begin to forgive ourselves only when we accept who and what we are now. All of our faults, missteps and should of would of could of. We are exactly where we are being exactly who we are meant to be in each and every moment. Let go of the self-hatred and self-criticizing. This is when we begin free ourselves and begin to forgive. Self-love in action.
5. Live Authentically and Intentionally- When we begin to live with purpose and
When my decisions started to grow greater Joy in my life I could see and feel that which was not in alignment with my heart come up to be healed and cleared in me. I continue to come back to each of these steps as a deeper understanding of myself grows over time. As I hold space for clients to move through these steps I am reminded how far I’ve come on my journey to growing self-love actualized in my life. That
This is my wish for you to see yourself and grow that love and appreciation and this will grow a greater Joy for you and you will be able to be that in the world.
Big Love,

Four steps to bring you back to yourself.
The mirrored effect and the bullshit meter measuring stick.
Why the truth can feel like complete and utter bullshit when we are facing our conditioned responses to life? Our conditioned self is the programming we are taught and told and feel from a young age that’s been handed to us externally.
Our stories are wrapped so deep through our thinking and being that we’ve identified ourselves as them; so we can’t see the forest for the trees until we are smack dab in the mix of it.
As our perspective shifts only then can we begin to let go of the attachments around the conditioned self. The reason there are attachments because it has served us and in serving us it becomes a part of our identity with the egoic-self.
This is what acceptance looks and feels like but so difficult for so many to accept feeling shamed or rage or guilt. This is why forgiveness is challenging because this is another layer of acceptance. This is a huge part of the self-love work I teach so clients can begin to actualize this and set themselves free.
Now can be replaced with a new energy that comes from your heart space. An emptiness that is already full. This is when our spirit or soul essence fills us up.
4. Acting by affirming this new energy from your heart which is your truth.
How do you act from your heart? You listen and follow it which is a different feeling than an automatic response based in Fear. Practice from this space it doesn’t happen overnight it takes conscious effort to live from here. This is part of living the Unconditioned self.
Can you feel it?
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions with this process or would like me to walk you through a session. I love holding space if you feel called to remember your greatness.

Rejecting Verses Receiving
The Healing Benefits of Receiving
I’m at a place on my path that I still struggle with receiving from time to time. But as it has shown up in my life over and over again as a way to protect myself, I’ve learned to sit up and reflect to take notice.
In the past few months I’ve shared a session or gifted someone with healing work I do, but they’ve passed on it. This has helped me reflect on how we often turn away that which will be most healing for us.
We are not here do it alone. To constantly think we need to go it alone actually pushes away the very thing that we’ve been calling into our lives for healing and growth.
Some people on the spiritual path will turn it down because it’s showing up outside of them as another person.
The journey inward doesn’t mean that what we seek doesn’t show up on the outside from time to time. This is exactly what it means to have our inward life express itself on the outside, reflecting back to us our inner dynamics.
It’s not about seeking it. But when the opportunity shows up, learning to gratefully receive helps to expand your ability to heal from within and grow your heart space in honoring your path.
For someone who has struggled with receiving help and letting people in, I can speak to this subject with great clarity.
When I do continue to let the abundant and loving Universe show up and provide me with all I need on my path, I expand in my capacity to show up and give more of myself than I ever thought possible.
Most people find it more comfortable giving than receiving — this can come as a way to manipulate power and control over others.
We’ve deemed giving as being more important, more honorable and notable — that you are somehow less when you accept and open to a receiving role. So much so that Facebook has turned people’s birthdays into a charitable donation space. This is wonderful, but another way we use giving as being more important than receiving.
And now that everyone is doing it, do you do it because you want to or because you want to be seen as giving and generous?
So why is the role of receiving looked down upon? How can one truly give from a heart center space if no one is on the receiving end to receive those gifts of the heart? It’s not about the thing, it’s about an exchange of energy.
When we reject the very thing we long for and often don’t realize it, we are inadvertently continuing to say we aren’t worthy. We aren’t worthy of our love. This comes back to the premise that we are all connected, the expression of Oneness and the energy of all that is. By rejecting what shows up in front of you, you are inadvertently rejecting a part of yourself.
The only way in is through: through the lies and conditions we’ve been fed that we aren’t worthy. Accept the experiences that show up to teach us and remind us of the truth. This isn’t a thought. We must live it and experience it.
Gone are the days when the spiritual path meant to go live in a fucking cave or forest or desert for days, weeks, and years. Our journey with 7 billion people on the planet means we are creating a life to have a journey inward through its outward expression and being present with what is presenting itself to us daily. The dance of being the light and reflecting it.
Yes, stretches of silence are therapeutic, and as a teacher of meditation alone time is vital. But, not a way to hide what we are calling to experience.
We are here at this time in our world to be connected and supported. We are being called to show up together collectively to strengthen the light within, to shine it, to transform the world we wish to live in versus the one we are in currently.
I know my purpose. Many don’t. Your purpose doesn’t equal a paying job. It’s part of your calling. Its human expression is to be as close to a divine light made manifest as possible.
The road to lightening up is letting go, and sometimes holding space for each of us to receive is a part of why we are here to hold each other’s hands.
Be open to receiving. When it’s showing up in your life, it’s there to teach you that you are loved. This is a part of the self-love journey. Receiving is as important as giving.
When we receive and remember the truth of who we are, we can begin to give in a way that we have never given before. As a whole and healed complete heart.

How the Past Informs our Now and Future?
- When did I first feel this feeling? This will tie back to the original emotional experience, or wounding. Just asking this question doesn’t mean you need to relive the trauma. Rather, it pulls up the stored emotions that you were unable to feel at the time. This is where healing happens.
- Where is it in my body? We store trauma and pain in our body and this helps to heal it on a cellular level.
